Peter Zambetti was elected Chairman of IADSA in 2010. He has a long history of involvement with a number of IADSA’s member associations in particular the American Herbal Product Association and the Natural Products Association in the US, and the Association of International Food and Nutrition (AIFN) in Japan.
In addition to his IADSA role, Peter is the Director of Global Business Development for Capsugel and travels worldwide and has extensive knowledge and experience of developments in the market and regulatory issues.
Ric Hobby was elected Vice Chairman of IADSA in 2012. He is Chairman of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN UK), a long term leader of European industry, former Treasurer for IADSA and a non-executive Board member of several companies.
Ric is Vice President, Worldwide Regulatory, Government & Industry Affairs at Herbalife International, directing and assisting the company in its more than 80 international markets.
He has extensive international business development and general management experience and is also a visiting university lecturer.
Michelle Stout was elected Treasurer of IADSA in 2012. She has worked in the Regulatory Affairs field for 18 years, with a significant portion devoted to the dietary/food supplement sector. Michelle is a Board member and Vice-chair of the International Trade & Market Development Committee of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN USA).
In addition, she is Regulatory Policy Director at Amway, supporting efforts to positively impact the policies and regulatory environment in the company's more than 80 markets and territories worldwide. Michelle has broad experience in working with international government agencies and scientific stakeholders and is often called upon to share regulatory trends and best practices.
