Who's who

  • Ric Hobby Chairman of IADSA

    Ric Hobby was elected Chairman of IADSA in 2016.  Former Vice Chair and Treasurer for IADSA and a non-executive Board member of several companies, Ric is also Senior Vice President, Global Government Affairs at Herbalife International, directing and assisting the company in government affairs and public policy in its more than 90 international markets.  He has extensive international business development and general management experience.

  • Bernd Haber Vice Chairman of IADSA

    Bernd Haber was elected Vice Chairman of IADSA in 2016. Bernd has been involved in numerous international and national associations including the German Federation of Food Law and Food Science (BLL) and Food Supplements Europe.

    In addition to his IADSA role, Bernd is Director of Regulatory Affairs & Quality Compliance of the Global Management Segment Human Nutrition for BASF and has extensive knowledge and expertise in regulatory issues related to additives, functional ingredients and health claims.

  • Michelle Stout Treasurer of IADSA

    Michelle Stout was elected Treasurer of IADSA in 2016. She has worked in the Regulatory Affairs field for 18 years, with a significant portion devoted to the dietary/food supplement sector.  Michelle is a Board member and Vice-chair of the International Trade & Market Development Committee of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN USA).

    In addition, she is Regulatory Policy Director at Amway, supporting efforts to positively impact the policies and regulatory environment in the company's more than 80 markets and territories worldwide. Michelle has broad experience in working with international government agencies and scientific stakeholders and is often called upon to share regulatory trends and best practices.
