  • Peter Zambetti Chairman of IADSA

    Peter Zambetti was elected Chairman of IADSA in 2010. He has a long history of involvement with a number of IADSA’s member associations in particular the American Herbal Product Association and the Natural Products Association in the US, and the Association of International Food and Nutrition (AIFN) in Japan.

     

    In addition to his IADSA role, Peter is Senior Manager of Global Business Development for Capsugel and travels worldwide and has extensive knowledge and experience of developments in the market and regulatory issues.

  • Peter van Doorn Vice Chairman of IADSA

    Peter van Doorn was re-elected Vice Chairman of IADSA in 2010. Having started his business career in the early eighties he is currently a Director of MCO Health BV/Orthica has been a board member of the Dutch trade association NPN since 1987.

     

    In 2003 he was elected Chairman of European trade organisation EHPM (European Federation of Associations of Health Products Manufacturers), a position he was re-elected to in 2006.

  • Ric Hobby Treasurer

    Ric Hobby was re-elected Treasurer of IADSA in 2010. He is Chairman of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN-UK), a Board member and Vice President of the European Federation of Associations of Health Product Manufacturers (EHPM), Treasurer of IADSA and a non-executive Board member of several companies.

     

    He is Vice President of Government & Industry Affairs at Herbalife International, directing and assisting the company in Europe and its 70 international markets.

     

    He has extensive international business development and general management experience and is also a visiting university lecturer.

  • Byron Johnson Immediate Past Chairman of IADSA

    Byron Johnson has practiced law for over thirty years and has been directly involved in the food supplement industry for the last 15 years. During this time he has been a Board Member of US trade associations and served as Chairman of the US Council for Responsible Nutrition. Byron has been closely involved in IADSA's global work for the past eight years.

     

    He has participated in delegations to Codex Alimentarius committees on labelling, nutrition and general principles and has presented at conferences in Asia and Latin America. He has been involved in advising governments on regulatory change around the world, and was elected Chairman of IADSA in 2008. In addition to his role in IADSA, Byron is Nutrition Regulatory Policy Director for Access Business Group based in Michigan USA.
